Duck Race - Yah Baby!!!

This past Saturday, the teen center and our youth services program was host to the annual SUCAP Duck Race. It was a great event and helped to raise funds for the youth services program.


It would have not have been a success without help from the local area youth and our teen center staff. We would like to give a huge shout out to the teen center, the youth who participated, all of SUCAP, and the SUIT for their continued support.

If you ever find yourself in Ignacio during late July, be sure to check out the San Ignacio Fiesta and buy a duck to help raise money for a great cause!!!

Denver City Rocks!!!

The Ignacio Teen Center was recently host to an amazing group of young people from Denver City, TX. They were affiliated with the ministry/mission organization Student Life.




They were an incredible group! They were here for three days and provided the teen center with a concerted team effort to improve our quality of life. Over the course of their work they helped with cleaning, reorganization, equipment, gardening, and overall productivity of our youth services effort.






We also engaged in daily team activities including basketball, lacrosse, pool, and a town wide scavenger hunt. Needless to say they were extremely energetic and always willing to participate. (There were some definite all-stars to be for sure...)


We are truly thankful for their involvement and want them to know that we are forever indebted to them. Thank you all so very much! YOU ROCK!
